11. ಆಗ ಅವಳು--ರಕ್ತ ವಿಚಾರಕನು ಇನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡು; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡ ಬಾರದು ಅಂದಳು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಕರ್ತನ ಜೀವ ದಾಣೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

11. ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು, “ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಕೊಡದಂತೆ ನೀನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡು. ಆಗ ಕೊಲೆಗಾರರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುವ ಈ ಜನರು, ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ದಾವೀದನು, “ಯೆಹೋವನಾಣೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಯಾವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೂ ತೊಂದರೆಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಕೂದಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದನು.
